This item in my EBAY store is a MILLERSBURG AMETHYST CARNIVAL GLASS "PEACOCK & URN" LARGE GIGANTIC SIX RUFFLE SHAPED BOWL.   This MILLERSBURG "PEACOCK & URN" bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass that is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining;   I may also add that this
MILLERSBURG AMETHYST CARNIVAL GLASS "PEACOCK & URN" LARGE SIX RUFFLE SHAPED BOWL is an early MILLERSBURG vintage antique carnival glass "PEACOCK & URN" bowl that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty surely cherrished this piece of MILLERSBURG antique glass according to the condition this "PEACOCK & URN" ruffle shaped bowl remains in today, a very beautiful early large carnival glass "PEACOCK & URN" bowl;   I can not begin to imagine the homes this "PEACOCK & URN" bowl must have sat on the china cabinet shelves over the many years, this antique glass "PEACOCK & URN" bowl is a MILLERSBURG sought after pattern, the iridescence on this bowl is very even and beautiful all over this "PEACOCK & URN" bowl, along with that famous radium finish, that is certainly MILLERSBURGS best;   This "PEACOCK & URN" pattern is not rare by any means but these MILLERRSBURG "PEACOCK" patterns is much sought by all to have in their collection, after all MILLERSBURG carnival glass was only produced over a three year period before the MILLERSBURG GLASS FACTORY burned down ending the era of "MILLERSBURG GLASS".
The leaves are stippled, the PEACOCK bird is stippled, all around the area this PEACOCK bird is walking is stippled, nearly 95% of this "PEACOCK & URN" ruffle shaped bowl is stippled causing this large beautiful bowl to shine, there is a "WIDE PANEL" secondary exterior pattern on the back of this bowl, along with that famous radium finish on top of this "PEACOCK & URN" large gigantic bowl, a large piece of glass for your money, folks there is no other carnival glass pattern that begins to match this beautiful strutting "PEACOCK", no wonder this bird is so expensive;
