This item in my EBAY store is a MILLERSBURG  "HOLLY WHIRL"  GREEN CARNIVAL GLASS SIX RUFFLE SHAPED BOWL.   This MILLERSBURG "HOLLY WHIRL" green carnival glass six ruffle shaped bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass that is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining;   I may also add that this MILLERSBURG  "HOLLY WHIRL"  GREEN CARNIVAL GLASS SIX RUFFLE SHAPED BOWL is an early MILLERSBURG vintage antique carnival glass "HOLLY WHIRL" bowl that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty surely cherrished this MILLERSBURG piece of antique glass according to the condition this MILLERSBURG "HOLLY WHIRL" ruffled bowl remains in today;   This "HOLLY WHIRL" MILLERSBURG bowl is just the way this bowl left the "MILLERSBURG GLASS COMPANY" many years ago (over 100 years);  The glass itself is thick glass, with that "stippling" affect in the leaves in the pattern making this beautiful bowl shine and glisten along with that MILLERSBURG famous "NEAR CUT WREATH" secondary pattern that is often used by this "MILLERSBURG GLASS COMPANY";
The finish on this beautiful MILLERSBURG bowl is the radium finish that really puts the shine to this beauty, remember folks, when buying carnival glass, it is all about the COLOR and my numerous photos do show this;   I can not find any roughness or damage to this "HOLLY WHIRL" ruffle shaped bowl, a very much sought after pattern;   I find so little MILLERSBURG carnival glass, we have to remember that the "MILLERSBURG GLASS COMPANY" only produced carnival glass three years before the factory burned down ending the production of MILLERSBURG CARNIVAL GLASS, but I have my hands on a dandy "HOLLY WHIRL" ruffled bowl that is looking for a good home to sit on one's top shelf of the china cabinet;   I believe I could live with a china cabinet full of this "HOLLY WHIRL" pattern;   The unusual pattern is what drew me into buying this bowl, as you can see in the photo's the back of this bowl also has a very beautiful secondary pattern, "NEAR CUT WREATH" as a secondary pattern, now you are getting two patterns for the price of one, plus a very large ruffle shaped bowl, please look at all the photos, a lot of glass, a large glass bowl for your money, there is NO iridizing on the back of this bowl;
I will also mention that this MILLERSBURG bowl that I have here does have the early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass making process having stress marks, straw marks, and air bubbles sometimes seen inside the glass of early carnival glass, these characteristics were done during the production of this beautiful MILLERSBURG bowl and is NOT considered damage;   Folks I like to photograph my carnival in natural day light it did not matter what angle I photographed this bowl, the beautiful iridescence shows on this "HOLLY WHIRL" bowl, color is the major factor in buying carnival glass;   This MILLERSBURG sought after pattern can be seen and talked about in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by, "Edwards & Carwile" a book on carnival glass , the "STANDARD
